Enter an underground chamber in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town. Discover the mysteries and mischief that wait for you there. The Royal Mile Theatre of Magic is a one hour experience set in the heart of Edinburgh, just off the Royal Mile.
Upon arrival drinks can be purchased, you’ll then have the chance to play with some optical illusions and other surprises dotted around the waiting area (we rotate the pre-show entertainment week to week).
7.30pm The Show Begins
We move into the cinema room (chairs differ from the image), were you’ll enjoy the show and see modern magic up close and live.
Expect an hour of entertainment watching magic unfold just a few feet from your seat. The Royal Mile Theatre of Magic show is presented by the award-winning magician Matthew Keys. Expect to witness impossible moments, be involved in a card trick or two, and take home memories of astonishing times. All of this while having a laugh too.
All volunteers are treated with respect and dignity.
The show mixes magic, comedy and mind-reading.
Whilst suitable for older children (over 14 and accompanied by an adult) it is aimed at an adult audience.
8.30pm End of the show
At the end of the show, Matthew will be available for photos and questions. Answers to “How did you do that?” cannot be guaranteed.
